John passed away August 9, 2012 after standing up to prostate (bone/liver) cancer since his radical surgery with radiation in 2002...metastic since fall of 2010. He never gave up. Kept throwing "something else" at it the past two years. During the past two years we kept wintering in Fla (7 winters total), two cruises to Carribean, Hawaii, the Mederranian, the Keys. Golf was his passion in retirement....and sunsets over Lake Michigan near our home here in Pentwater. He had fond memories of SAE.
